Abstract
En los últimos años, hemos ido viendo cómo el sector de la tecnología se ha ido posicionando cada vez con más fuerza en los mercados. El uso de móviles, tabletas y demás accesorios tecnológicos se hace cada vez más frecuente. El mercado de las nuevas tecnologías está viviendo una “edad de oro”. Consecuentemente, para que todos esos dispositivos lleguen al usuario se necesita una potente infraestructura de almacenaje y distribución. La fabricación de estos productos, en cantidades incrementalmente ingentes, requiere lugares donde almacenarlos hasta su venta y distribución posterior. En este sector se ubica la empresa donde se desarrolla el proyecto.
LogísticaMobile es un proveedor logístico con centros especializados en el almacenaje de artículos del sector tecnológico y necesita un programa especializado capaz de gestionar sus stocks. EasyLog es el SGA (Sistema de Gestión de Almacenes) que se va a encargar de dicha tarea. Sin embargo, existe una importante labor de adaptación del sistema a los procesos logísticos del cliente. Este proyecto se centra en dicha labor de desarrollo e implementación.
A lo largo de la memoria se describen las distintas etapas de trabajo seguidas hasta conseguir poner en funcionamiento el sistema EasyLog en LogisticaMobile. Se comienza describiendo el marco teórico del proyecto y a continuación se analizan los procesos logísticos que tienen lugar en los almacenes de LogísticaMobile y su dinámica de funcionamiento. Se describe el desarrollo de la serie de módulos de pantallas, modificación de algoritmos y múltiples parametrizaciones necesarias para adaptar la herramienta a los procesos del cliente. Finalmente, se presenta un conjunto de ejemplos prácticos para resaltar las ventajas del nuevo sistema.
In recent times the technology sector has reached an increasingly strong position in the market. The use of smartphones, tablets and other tech accessories is becoming widespread nowadays. The market of new technologies is experiencing a “golden age”. Hence, a powerful infrastructure for storage and distribution is needed to reach the final user. Manufacturing of these products in increasingly enormous quantities requires storage space until they are sold and distributed. The company where this project is developed operates in the described framework. LogísticaMobile is a logistics operator specialized in consumer high-tech warehouses, which needs a software system to support the company stock management. EasyLog is the WMS (Warehouse Management System) that will control this task. However, there is a significant amount of work to adapt the software to the customer logistics processes. This work, development and implementation, constitutes the body of this project. Therefore, we will analyze the logistics processes that take place in the warehouses of LogísticaMobile and implement the EasyLog system to manage them. To achieve this, we will develop a series of user interface modules, algorithm adaptations and rule settings. Steps to do so will be described on detail herein. We first conduct an investigation to determine the theoretical framework of the logistics sector prior to analyze the customer logistic processes. We then describe the design and implementation of the user interface, in order to give tools to the warehouse operators to manage logistic data flow. Finally we take advantage of some application examples to show the advantages of the new system.
