Abstract
El presente estudio realiza un análisis cuantitativo acerca de la sostenibilidad integral de las pensiones, esto es, incluyendo no solamente la perspectiva financiera sino también la social, entendida como su adecuación y suficiencia. Para ello, se parte de la situación actual en que se encuentran las pensiones tras la crisis económica derivada de la pandemia para, a continuación, abordar los compromisos que en materia de pensiones ha adquirido España con la Unión Europea y analizar el impacto que han tenido la materialización de esos compromisos en las reformas aprobadas a lo largo de 2021. El estudio se cierra con unas breves reflexiones finales a modo de conclusiones.
This study carries out a quantitative analysis of the overall sustainability of pensions, i.e., including not only the financial perspective but also the social perspective, understood as their adequacy and sufficiency. To do so, we start with the current pension situation after the economic crisis derived from the pandemic and then go on to address the pension commitments Spain has made to the European Union and analyse the impact of the materialisation of these commitments in the reforms approved over the course of 2021. The study closes with some brief final reflections in the form of conclusions.
