Abstract
Article qui reconnaît -partant de l'oeuvre littéraire comme produit linguistique- le bénéfice de l'ordinnateur comme parfait auxiliaire dans la travail du critique littéraire. L'informatique, ayant une capacité supérieure à celle de l'homme pour calculer, ordonner et compter plus objectivement, plus précisément et en moins de temps ouvre la voie à de nouvelles orientations dans l'investigation de l'oeuvre littéraire. Cependant, ceci ne donnera ses fruits que si les formules d'analyse sont de bonne qualité et si les applications sont mises en pratique (en parvenant ainsi a des résultais concrets et laissant de côté la théorie pure).
Beginning from the literary work as a linguistic product, this article argues the benefits of the computer as a perfect auxiliary aid for the labour of the literary critic. Computer science, with its ability to calculate, order and compute more objectively and precisely in less time than man, opens new directions for research on literature. These resources will only become fruitful, however, if the formulas of analysis are qualitative and the applications are used to arrive at concrete results, putting aside the purely theoretical.
