Abstract
El impacto que ha tenido Internet en la sociedad ha traído consigo una revolución en el modo de hacer y de consumir software. Las aplicaciones web y todas las tecnologías relacionadas, tanto hardware como software, se han convertido en una de las mejores soluciones para el desarrollo de nuevas aplicaciones. En parte, es debido a la oportunidad que encuentran las empresas de utilizar Internet como vehículo de distribución de sus productos, pudiendo llegar a un número muy grande de usuarios y clientes con un esfuerzo mínimo. Actualmente existen varias plataformas para el desarrollo de este tipo de sistemas, entre las que destacan dos: Microsoft .Net y J2EE de Sun Microsystem. La flexibilidad de acceso, autonomía, posibilidad de ejecución desde diferentes soportes y dispositivos, así como la facilidad de actualización, hacen que este modelo de desarrollo siga ganando terreno a otro tipo de aplicaciones. En este nuevo mundo globalizado están empezando a dejar de tener sentido sistemas aislados o aplicaciones de escritorio. El objetivo del proyecto es el análisis, diseño e implementación de una aplicación web completa, recorriendo todas las fases que componen el ciclo de vida de un desarrollo de software real, así como analizar, estudiar y aplicar las últimas tecnologías en el desarrollo de aplicaciones web. La aplicación permitirá gestionar un gabinete de fisioterapia a través de Internet, gracias a las tecnologías utilizadas en su implementación: ASP .Net, Web Services, SQLServer, etc. _____________________________________________
The impact of internet on society revolutionized the ways in which software is produced and consumed. Web applications and its technology, both hardware and software, have become one of the best solutions for the development of new applications. To a large extend, this is due to the use of the internet as a vehicle for the massive distribution of products with a minimum effort. At present there are different platforms for the development of these types of systems, but two of them stand out from the rest: Microsoft.Net and J2EE by Sun Microsystems. Access flexibility, autonomy, the possibility of using them through different media and devices, the easy updating process… all make this a very successful model. In this new world of globalization and cosmopolitanism, isolated systems and desk applications are becoming obsolete. The main idea of this project is the analysis, the design and the implementation of a complete web application, comprising all the stages that constitute the life cycle of real software. This project will also analyze, study, and apply the latest web application technologies. The application will allow to manage a physical therapy center across Internet, thanks to the technologies used in the implementation: ASP .Net, Web Services, SQLServer, etc.
