Abstract
The vehicle license plate identification has multitude of uses nowadays, it is used for detecting traffic infractions, as for payment of tolls in highways, control of parking, security of customs and for many intelligent systems. The identification of license plate begins by taking a picture of the car to identify. This picture depends on the used algorithm that must be more or less of good quality. Actualmente el reconocimiento de matriculas tiene multitud de de usos, entre ellos, están las multas de tráfico, el pago de peajes, controles de seguridad en parkings… La identificación de la matricula de un coche comienza tomando una foto del coche que se desea identificar.
