Abstract
El gran auge con el que cuentan actualmente los dispositivos móviles, como tablets y smartphones, ha provocado que muchos usuarios incluso posean varios de estos dispositivos y que los usen en cualquier lugar en el que se encuentren.
Además, se han producido grandes avances en los sistemas operativos móviles, muchos de ellos de código abierto que permiten extender la funcionalidad a través de aplicaciones de terceros, siendo Android el más popular. También se han producido grandes avances en las características de los propios dispositivos móviles, que han aumentado su capacidad de almacenamiento y su potencia de procesamiento, así como en las redes de comunicaciones móviles, principalmente para la conexión a internet móvil, que ha posibilitado el uso de aplicaciones móviles que requieren conexión a internet desde cualquier lugar.
Todo ello ha hecho necesario para muchos usuarios el poder disponer de sus ficheros en todos sus dispositivos y en cualquier lugar que se encuentren. Para cubrir esta necesidad de los usuarios, en este documento se detalla el desarrollo de un sistema de almacenamiento, distribución y sincronización de ficheros que los usuarios pueden utilizar en dispositivos que funcionen con el sistema operativo Android. Este sistema permite tener los ficheros disponibles en todos los dispositivos que utilice el usuario y sincronizar de forma automática los cambios realizados en los ficheros en todos los dispositivos. Además, este sistema cuenta con la particularidad de que dispone de un sistema de etiquetas. Este sistema permite al usuario asignar etiquetas a los ficheros, de forma que se posibilita su clasificación y la navegación por los mismos. Esto simplifica la tarea de encontrar un determinado fichero o un conjunto de ellos.
The current boom of mobile devices, like smartphones and tablets, has caused many users owning several of them and using them anywhere they are. Also, there have been great improvements in the mobile operating systems, many of them open source, which allow extending their functionality through third-party applications, being Android the most popular one. There have also been great improvements in the mobile devices characteristics, which have increased their storage capacity and processing power, and in the mobile communication networks, mainly the mobile internet connection, which have made possible using mobile applications which require internet connection anywhere. All of that have made necessary to many users being able to have their files available in all their devices and anywhere they are. To meet this user need, this document details the development of a file storage, distribution and synchronization system which can be used by the users in devices running Android operating system. This system allows having the files available in all user devices and automatically synchronizes all changes made to files in all devices. Also, this system has the distinctive feature of having a label system. This system allows the user to assign labels to the files to make easier their classification and the navigation among them. This simplifies finding a specific file or a group of them.
