dc.description.abstractThis thesis analyzes a solution for the aerodynamic problem in a Formula Student car. This solution will be implemented in a real car and in a real competition with the purpose of get a good performance in the race. The project study is about the more important additional elements for a formula car in terms of drag and lift, which are the ailerons. The design and simulation will be made with SolidWorks software and assuming a sunny day, and sea level pressure. Also It will be assumed a speed of 25 meter per seconds that are 90 kilometers per hour. SolidWorks software can simulate Computer Fluid Dynamics that show the performance of the whole car in terms of drag and lift and Finite Element Method to analyze the structure in terms of strength of materials.es
