Particularmente, se centra en las actuaciones subsiguientes del Virrey Galve, quien, a partir de la correspondencia privada con su hermano el IX duque del infantado, manifiesta sus preocupaciones máximas sobre la bebida del pulque como gran causante del motín. = Based on the documentation preserved in the Archivo General de Indias and in the Archivo Histórico de la Nobleza (essentially, its Osuna section), this work delves into the effects of the great riot of 1692 in Mexico in terms of the political implications of those responsible for it.
