La reflexión sobre las carencias del individualismo y del estatalismo, latentes en la cultura jurídicopolítica contemporánea, no pretende relativizar el papel de los derechos sino tratar de reforzarlo a través de un discurso permeable a otras formulaciones de las exigencias de justicia y a otras concepciones del mundo, con el objetivo de fortalecer la conciencia cívica, el tejido social relacional, la asunción responsable de las propias obligaciones y una idea de universalidad más sensible a la dimensión comunitaria.This essay deals with those XXth century events and works which are the most significant with regard to the relationship between rights and duties and it aims to propose a new interpretation of the notion of human responsibility.
