Salary Prediction in the IT Job Market with Few High-Dimensional Samples: A Spanish Case Study. International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems 11(1), pp. 1192 -1209.1875-6883https://hdl.handle.net/10016/38939The explosion of the Internet has deeply affected the labour market. Identifying most rewarded and demanded items in job offers is key for recruiters and candidates. This work analyses 4, 000 job offers from a Spanish IT recruitment portal. We conclude that (1) experience is more rewarded than education, (2) we identify five profile clusters based on required skills and (3) we develop an accurate salary-range classifier by using tree-based ensembles.18application/pdfeng© 2018 by the authorsAtribución 3.0 EspañaSalary predictionE-recruitmentJob marketMachine learningEnsemble methodsSalary Prediction in the IT Job Market with Few High-Dimensional Samples: A Spanish Case Studyresearch articleInformáticahttps://doi.org/10.2991/ijcis.11.1.90open access119211209International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems11AR/0000022942
