AB A new reconstruction strategy is proposed for 3Dimages acquired with rotating PET scanners. This method isbased on the decomposition of the System Response Matrix(SRM) into a projection and a rotation components that areinverted independently. We present the rationale of the newreconstruction procedure as well as some examples to comparewith analytical 3D reconstruction (3DRP) and 3D statisticalreconstruction (3D-OSEM)
