T1 Power Quality in distribution power networks with photovoltaic energy sources

AB Solar radiation is characterized by short fluctuationsintroduced by passing clouds. These solar fluctuations willproduce Voltage and power fluctuations at the PCC (Point ofcommon coupling). Flicker level should be evaluated by using aflickermeter according to the standard IEC 61000-4-15. Models ofthe solar fluctuation, photovoltaic modules and power converterare shown in this paper and the flickermeter model is testedaccording to the IEC requirements and the CIGRE/CIRED/UIEtest protocol.
