RT Journal Article T1 Human activity recognition based on evolving fuzzy systems A1 Iglesias Martínez, José Antonio A1 Angelov, Plamen A1 Ledezma Espino, Agapito Ismael A1 Sanchis de Miguel, María Araceli AB Environments equipped with intelligent sensors can be of much help if they can recognize the actionsor activities of their users. If this activity recognition is done automatically, it can be very useful fordifferent tasks such as future action prediction, remote health monitoring, or interventions. Althoughthere are several approaches for recognizing activities, most of them do not consider the changes in howa human performs a specific activity. We present an automated approach to recognize daily activitiesfrom the sensor readings of an intelligent home environment. However, as the way to perform an activityis usually not fixed but it changes and evolves, we propose an activity recognition method based onEvolving Fuzzy Systems PB World Scientific Publishing Company SN 0129-0657 YR 2010 FD 2010 LK https://hdl.handle.net/10016/14099 UL https://hdl.handle.net/10016/14099 LA eng NO This work has been partially supported by theSpanish Government under project TRA2007-67374-C02-02 DS e-Archivo RD 14 sept. 2024
