T1 Conscripción en la cinematografía española: Nacionalización y Servicio Militar Obligatorio

AB En el marco de la cinematografía española, la temática bélica ha sido utilizada de manera recurrente.En este texto se ana}jza las representaciones que de] servicio militar obligatorio sehan hecho en él. Nuestro interés se centrará en examinar de qué manera los estudios de casorepresentan el papel nacionalizador que según las te01ias clásicas (E.Weber) tiene el serviciomilitar obligatorio. Para ello se analizaran diferentes filmes rodados entre 1941 y 1998, abordándolosdesde una doble óptica. Por una pa1te intentando buscar en ellas las representacionesde los elementos activos de construcción nacional que se implementarían sobre los reclutas,por otro la visión que del SMO y de la propia vida castrense, así como la visión de pertenenciaa una comunidad imaginada, que podría recibir el público. Por otro lado, también se analizael papel activo que la proyección de películas tenía en la formación patriótica de los reclutasespañoles entre la década de 1940 y la de 1990.
AB In the framework of Spanish cinematography, the war theme has been used in a recurrent way.This text analyzes the representations that have been made of compulsory military service.Our interest will be focused on examining how the case studies represent the nationalizingrole that according to classical theories (E.Weber) has compulsory military service. To dothis, different films shot between 1941 and 1998 will be analyzed, approaching them from adouble optics. On the one hand, trying to look for in them the representations of the activeelements of national construction that would be implemented on the recruits, on the other thevision that of the SMO and of the own military life, as well as the vision of belonging to animagined community, that could Receive the public. On the other hand, we also analyze theactive role that film projection played in the patriotic formation of Spanish recruits betweenthe 1940s and 1990s.
