T1 La adaptación literaria en la obra de Dariush Mehryui

AB La importancia de la carrera cinematográfica de Dariush Mehryui se entiende por su estrechavinculación con las realidades cotidianas de su entorno. Su obra, en ocasiones divide alos críticos locales; algunos le han nombrado el hijo legítimo de su tiempo, y otros noobstante le han acusado a ser un oportunista. Este debate da indicio de la controversia delcontenido de la obra de este director, siempre presente desde el inicio del movimiento delnuevo cine iraní hasta la actualidad. Es visible una clara influencia de la literatura modernaen su obra y del mismo modo gran parte de sus argumentos consisten en adaptacionesliterarias. Por lo que este artículo, a modo de una breve introducción, pretende aproximar aesta «huella literaria», a través de una mirada retrospectiva a lo largo de su carrera.
AB The significance of Dariush Mehryui’scareer background is due to the fact that he has always chosen and made his works inaccordance with the realities of his native land. Some local critics have occasionally calledhim a legitimate child of his own time and some others have accused him of being anopportunist. The debates mentions so far put emphasis on the controversial contents of theworks of this director who has been present on the stream of the New Cinema in Iran fromthe very beginning. The impression he has taken from the modern literature is visible in allhis works most of which have been made based on novella and plays. This article as a briefintroduction makes an attempt to approach these «Literary Traces» through an overall retrospectupon his works.
