AB This article reflects on literary realism and the notion of testimony to introduce a characteristic theme on Latin American literature: The plantation novel that, in this case, is limited to the hierba mate grass crops. It aims to distinguish novel from life and bases its literary concept in the construction of composition models from the importance of cultural tradition.
