In the second chapter, we continue the analysisof the employment effects of digitalization through the analysis of the relationshipbetween firms’ digitalization focus and their workforce restructuring decisions in USpublic companies between 2002 and 2016. Finally, chapter three addresses therelationship between firms’ digitalization focus, environmental best practices andcontroversies, and how they affect financial performance framed in US-listedcompanies between 2000 and 2019.
