T1 Towards a Reconfiguration Service for Distributed Real-Time Java

AB Ancient monolithic distributed systems wereattached to well-known development practices and offlineanalysis. Current scenarios are more dynamic, and open,plenty of applications and services which appear anddisappear dynamically at runtime. Likewise, these scenariosrequire taking into account actions that were traditionallyaddressed offline, this time in an online scenario. This papercontributes a reconfiguration service in the context ofdistributed real-time Java application as a means to includereal-time reconfiguration into next generation real-time Javasystems. The paper addresses the integration taking intoaccount changes required in the API and the cost of somereconfiguration strategies.
