AB El pensamiento actual ha desarrollado una gran sensibilidad hacia la diferencia. La alteridad se ha convertido en un asunto central. Ya no se puede partir del yo: la prioridad corresponde al otro, concebido incluso como extranjero. Es preciso hacer la experiencia del otro y la exigencia de hospitalidad adquiere una relevancia sin precedentes. La intersubjetividad es un planteamiento insuficiente para abordar los problemas de sociedades gobernadas por sistemas que procesan diferencias y caracterizadas por una creciente generación de alteridad. Todo ello conecta con las urgencias de la cuestión migratoria, que exige cambios profundos en los modos de pensar y actuar.
AB Current thought has developed a strong sense of difference. Alterity has become a capital issue. We can not start from the self. The priority belongs to the other, conceived as a foreign person. It is necessary to do the experience of the difference. The demand for hospitality acquires an outstanding significance.Intersubjectivity is an unsatisfactory approach to deal with the problems of societies governed by systems that process differences, characterized by increased production of alterity. This connects with the pressing urgencies of the migratory question, which demands deep changes in the way of thinking and acting.
