AB This paper proposes an innovative model of interaction among Computer Science, Documentalism and Humanities. A twofold perspective allows die reader to consider either the educational aspects of the discussion, or those related to the application of the computer to concrete points.A renovation of the syllabus is needed, from the point of view of the Humanities and also from that of the Natural and Physical Sciences. This necessity is imposed by the fact that the computer requires a technological basis, but allows a wide man-machine interaction, only possible through Natural Language interfaces.Actual possibilities are presented and explained in the text: how to build and use digital archives, with text and text and images, such as ADMYTE, the Digital Archive of Spanish Manuscripts and Texts on CD-ROM, or how to access bibliographic data bases both on CD-ROM and remotely (MLA, ERIC, RLIN).
