AB El presente ensayo crítico estudia, con atención especial a la lengua literaria, la configuración narrativa del enigmático sacerdote Nazarín protagonista de la novela homónima de Benito Pérez Galdós de finales de siglo XIX. Cómo debemos valorar a tan ambiguo personaje, cómo justipreciar la crisis de lenguaje expuesta en toda la novela. En suma, qué "imagen de la vida" y cuál análisis de la sociedad española presenta dicho texto de entresiglos.
AB The present critical essay studies, with special attention, the literary language, the narrative configuration of the enigmatic priest Nazarín, the main character of Benito Pérez Galdós same name novel, of the last years of 19th century.How we should evaluate such an ambiguous character, how can we appreciate the language crisis showed in the entire novel. In other words, which "image of life" and what type of Spanish society analysis does the present text represent?
