AB In this paper, a legal approach to Ambient Assisted Living is considered.A general framework for context-aware applications is presented and a general viewof legal principles to be considered in this framework. The analysis of a specific applicationof AAL, developed in a previous work, allows understanding these principlesin a real development and the applicability for designing AAL applications.
