Abstract
En este estudio se analiza fundamentalmente el artículo VI de la Declaración Americana de Derechos y Deberes del Hombre, con referencia a la doctrina de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos sobre el derecho a constituir una familia y su protección. El Sistema Interamericano de Protección de los Derechos Humanos evidencia que América es uno de los continentes que más ha avanzado en el reconocimiento y protección de la familia en sus diversas formas.
This paper analyzes fundamentally the article VI of the American Declaration of the American Declaration of the Rigths and Duties of Man , with reference to the doctrine of the Inter-American Court of Human Rigths concerning of the right to found a family and its protection. The Inter-American System for the Protection of Human Rigths shows that America is one of the continents in wicht most significant progresses have been made in the recognition and protection of the family in its various forms.
