Ruidos (im)políticos. Huellas y memoria de las audiotopías 'a la contra' durante el segundo franquismo y la Transición española

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación que se expone a continuación intenta profundizar en una noción que, a priori, parece evidente: la música produce y articula identidades y formas de subjetividad. Pero estas identidades, lo que defiendo, es que fueron y son políticas, en el sentido de que configuran un ethos que constituye formas de vida, formas de estar en la polis, en la ciudad o en cualquier espacio social. Este ethos e identidades políticas pueden ser de distinta naturaleza, entendiendo con ello no tanto una esencia sino un tipo de relación y orden de cosas, como las relaciones sociales que no son de producción, sino de re-producción de vida sociocultural y afectiva. Unos ethos e identidades que pueden ser análogos o correlativos a las formas de relaciones sociales de producción existentes pero que también pueden ser distintas e incluso opuestas. Lo que defiendo es que en el contexto de formación de nuevas hegemonías políticas y bajo la construcción de un régimen democrático, esas músicas cuyo ethos y sus prácticas de vida en la polis ponían en entre dicho, no solo la legitimidad sino la idoneidad del modelo de régimen democrático conformaron un tipo de audiopolítica en formas de audiotopías que, no obstante, se expandieron a toda una generación a través de cauces que se insertaban en formas de producción social contrarias a ese ethos. De ahí que se elaboraran manifiestos, y que hubiese conjuntos que abandonasen la actividad musical. No obstante, esta es la contradicción del movimiento musical underground y contracultural que, siendo soundscape audiopolítico de la transición, sin duda alguna emergió años antes de que se intuyera o incluso se soñase con la posibilidad de la muerte del dictador y el fin de la dictadura. Esas músicas son músicas dispersas, distintas diferentes y con variadas temáticas así como formas distintas de ocupar el espacio. Pero entre todas construyen un sujeto colectivo en torno a un ethos particular y distintivo del hegemónico en el que una generación se irá conociendo y, lo que es más importante desde una perspectiva política, reconociendo, y a través de la cual, en un momento determinado, se diferenciará políticamente convirtiéndose en músicas e identidades de resistencia. De esta forma veremos como desde Sevilla Smash vendrán a gritar que van a machacar el tiempo de callar, y Jesus de la Rosa pasará de cantar que está “cansado y lleno de ansiedad” a gritar con Triana que quieren “elegir sin que nadie diga más, el rumbo que lleva a la orilla de la libertad”; Goma le dedicaría una canción a la “madre tierra”; el grupo Azahar interpelará a la justicia la discriminación y marginación de una ley de peligrosidad social que encarcela a quien fuma hachis mientras dejan impune la violencia machista y los abusos de poder; de forma similar, Veneno describirán quiénes son los verdaderos delicuentes sociales; y también de forma similar a estos grupos, en Madrid las Vainica Doble —uno de los pocos grupos formados por mujeres— también denunciarán la violencia machista a modo de metáfora de la violencia doméstica contra un gato, y los Cucharada denunciarán las condiciones de existencia de los sujetos de la ley de “social peligrosidad”, al tiempo que Burning cantarán las condiciones de vida del extrarradio madrileño. También en Barcelona Gato Pérez cantará y empezará a dejarse la vida y el el corazón en los escenarios, a ritmo de rumba, “forzando la máquina”; La banda trapera del río gritará lo podrida que está la ciudad y las míseras condiciones de vida que hay en su barrio de San Ildefonso en Cornellá, al tiempo casi de que el grupo Iceberg, bajo una métáfora de las condiciones del pueblo egipcio esclavo en la época de Tutankamón, hablará de la cuestión social del trabajo y las relaciones de dominación en una época todavía de fuertes movilizaciones sociales por la cuestión laboral y la crisis económica que se estaba sufriendo. Así pues, entre 1960 y 1979, aproximadamente, emergieron en España una serie de músicas de distintos géneros y estilos, y en distintas escenas y localidades, capaces no solo de proyectar y avanzar cambios en las sensibilidades y en la cultura política, sino de producir en sí mismas formas de vida que conformaron no solo lo político y las formas de vida futura, sino también las formas de las prácticas de la esfera política y las democráticas. Ello nos ha quedado hoy como memoria de aquella época, y sus ruidos crearon tal resonancia que se pudo seguir escuchando en movimientos como el 15M en 2011.

The research work presented below attempts to delve into a notion that, a priori, seems obvious: music produces and articulates identities and forms of subjectivity. What I defend is that in the context of the formation of new political hegemonies and under the construction of a democratic regime, those musics whose ethos and their practices of life in the polis put in question, not only the legitimacy but the suitability of the model of The democratic regime conformed a type of audiopolitics in forms of audiotopies that, nevertheless, spread to a whole generation through channels that were inserted in forms of social production contrary to that ethos. Hence, manifestos were elaborated, and that there were groups that abandoned the musical activity. However, this is the contradiction of the underground and countercultural musical movement that, being the audio-political soundscape of the transition, undoubtedly emerged years before the possibility of the death of the dictator and the end of the dictatorship was sensed or even dreamed of. . These musics are scattered, different, different music with varied themes as well as different ways of occupying space. But between all of them they build a collective subject around a particular and distinctive ethos of the hegemonic in which a generation will get to know each other and, what is more important from a political perspective, recognizing, and through which, at a given moment, it will differentiate itself politically by becoming musics and identities of resistance. In this way we will see how from Sevilla Smash they will come to shout that they are going to crush the time to be quiet, and Jesus de la Rosa will go from singing that he is "tired and full of anxiety" to shouting with Triana that they want to "choose without anyone saying more , the course that leads to the shore of freedom ”; Goma would dedicate a song to "mother earth"; the Azahar group will challenge to justice the discrimination and marginalization of a law of social danger that imprisons those who smoke hashish while they leave sexist violence and abuses of power unpunished; similarly, Veneno will describe who the real social offenders are; And also in a similar way to these groups, in Madrid the Vainica Doble - one of the few groups made up of women - will also denounce sexist violence as a metaphor for domestic violence against a cat, and the Cucharada will denounce the conditions of existence of the subjects of the "social dangerousness" law, while Burning will sing about the living conditions of the Madrid suburbs. This has remained with us today as a memory of that time, and its noises created such a resonance that it could continue to be heard in movements such as the 15M in 2011.
