Asistente virtual conversacional aplicado al ámbito cultural

Abstract

El principal objetivo de este trabajo es la creación de una aplicación para Android enmarcada en el ámbito turístico y orientada a facilitar los viajes y visitar las principales atracciones turísticas de las ciudades. Puesto que el desarrollo de una aplicación universal es un objetivo muy ambicioso, este trabajo presenta una aplicación a pequeña escala, focalizada únicamente en la Comunidad de Madrid y en las principales atracciones turísticas que posee. Las características más relevantes de la aplicación se basan en la iteración por voz, así como en la iteración con la cámara del Smartphone. Por lo tanto, el objetivo es realizar una aplicación escalable, que pueda ser adaptada a otras ciudades tanto nacionales (Barcelona, Sevilla) como internacionales (Londres, Paris …). Un segundo objetivo implícito en la aplicación es la creación de una red social, en la que los usuarios puedan intercambiar opiniones acerca de las atracciones y compartir datos relacionados con las visitas tales como precio, rutas, transportes empleados, etc. Con esto, se pretende también llegar a un mayor número de usuarios. Otro objetivo colateral es el aprendizaje del Sistema Operativo Android y el desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles para este Sistema Operativo ya que a lo largo de la carrera no he tenido la oportunidad de ver nada relacionado con este tema y, en mi opinión, es un área en auge, con grandes perspectivas de futuro y esencial en la formación de cualquier graduado informático. Con la implementación de esta aplicación se quieren adquirir conocimientos sobre los programas informáticos con los que es posible mantener una conversación (conocidos como chatbots), y toda la tecnología que llevan implícita. El aprendizaje de la realidad aumentada también es un gran objetivo para este trabajo de fin de grado.

Most of the tasks that are performed during the day are using our Smartphones. Today, life is inconceivable without the use of smartphones. The number of smartphone users currently accounts for more than half of the total number of mobile phone users in the world, which in 2018 acquired more than 1.5 billion terminals according to data provided by statista. Currently, Smartphones are one of the largest markets in the world, and which have been evolving exponentially, including features such as fingerprint and facial identification, 4k resolution screens or the use of virtual reality. The use of these devices is so widespread in everyday life that it has become the most widely used device for Internet access. An average user spends more than two hours on a Smartphone, in which they send messages, play videos, send messages, consult information or visit social networks, but what they spend more time on is online shopping. With Smartphones, tasks can be performed automatically from anywhere. These advances can be used within tourism so that anyone can visit a city minimizing cultural barriers, mainly language. With the new ones, cultural visits can be planned and carried out anywhere in the world by searching the internet for the different most important points of that place.
