Abstract
Este proyecto tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio de las ventajas que aporta a las aplicaciones informáticas el almacenamiento en memoria (almacenamiento en caché) de información obtenida de recursos externos. Se realizará un análisis de la situación actual y se propondrá el diseño de un sistema de gestión de cachés que normalice el uso del almacenamiento en memoria por parte de cualquier aplicación.
El sistema diseñado permitiría gestionar el almacenamiento en memoria de la información necesaria en tiempo de ejecución de las aplicaciones.
El resultado del proyecto será el diseño de un sistema que ofrezca soporte a cachés de nivel 1 (en la propia instancia de la aplicación) y nivel 2 (compartida por diversas instancias de aplicaciones), de forma que se permita el uso de diversas implementaciones de caché de forma transparente a la aplicación usuaria.
This project aims to study the advantages of the memory storage in computer applications (caching) of the information obtained from external resources. An analysis of the current situation will be carried out and a design of a system of Cache management that normalizes the use of storage in memory by any application will be proposed. The system designed will manage memory storage of the necessary information at runtime applications. The result of the project will be the design of a system that offers support caches level 1 (in the actual instance of the application) and level 2 (shared by multiple instances of applications). It is allowed the use of various implementations of cache in a transparent way to the application.
