Diseño de la red de fibra óptica FTTH para un municipio

Abstract

La idea de realizar este proyecto ha surgido ante la necesidad de dar solución a los problemas que están surgiendo en los despliegues actuales de fibra óptica hasta el hogar en el territorio español. Siendo el origen de estos problemas la propia tipología de instalación de los municipios en los que actualmente se está desplegando fibra óptica. Una vez instalada la fibra óptica en los grandes núcleos de población, se ha comenzado a acometer los municipios de menor tamaño. Para entender el origen de estos problemas se desarrollan los principales capítulos de las leyes que regulan el sector de las telecomunicaciones español, el convenio MARCo, que regula el acceso de infraestructuras de terceros y la normativa de diseño e instalación de la red de fibra óptica de un operador. Para ejemplificar todos estos problemas se va a realizar el estudio y diseño de la Red de Alimentación del municipio cordobés de Cabra, que incluye los planos de diseño de la red de alimentación, el tipo de cableado y equipos necesarios que hay que instalar y el presupuesto de mano de obra, materiales, equipos y obra civil necesarios para acometer la instalación. Finalmente se expondrán los principales problemas que están encontrando los operadores para poder atender la totalidad de Unidades Inmobiliarias de un municipio de tamaño reducido, proponiendo las posibles soluciones que los resuelvan y en caso de que la solución dependa de terceros, se propondrán una alternativa para reducir los costes del despliegue.

The idea of carrying out this project has arisen in order to solve the problems that are emerging in the current deployment of fiber to the home in Spanish territory. Being the origin of these problems the own typology of installation of the municipalities in which fiber optic is currently being deployed. Once the fiber optic has been installed in the large population centers, the smaller municipalities have begun to be undertaken. In order to understand the origin of these problems, is needed to know the main aspects of the laws that regulate the Spanish telecommunications, the MARCo agreement, which regulates the access of third-party infrastructures and the regulations for the design and installation of the fiber optic network to any operator. To exemplify all these problems, the case of study will be the design of the Main Network of the municipality of Cabra, which includes the layout of the grid, the type of wiring and equipment needed to install. To resume, a budget of labor, materials, equipment and civil works needed to undertake the installation will be resumed. Finally, the main problems that operators are facing, in order to deal with all living places in a small municipality, proposing the possible solutions that solve them and if this solution depends on third parties, alternative solutions will be presented to reduce the costs of the deployment.
