Generación eléctrica en España con energías renovables. Estudio energético, medioambiental y socioeconómico

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este proyecto es el análisis de la situación actual y de futuro de la generación eléctrica mediante las principales fuentes de energía renovable en España, a nivel energético, medioambiental y económico. Para el análisis de la situación actual se estudia la evolución de los principales indicadores dentro de cada nivel y se compara con la previsión realizada por el Plan de Energías Renovables 2011-2020. Además, se comprueba si se han cumplido los objetivos para 2020 planteados en el PER (2011-2020) y los marcados por la Directiva 2009/28/CE y el Acuerdo de París. Para el análisis de la situación de futuro se estudia la previsión realizada por el Plan Nacional Integrado de Energía y Clima (2021-2030) y los objetivos a largo plazo. El desarrollo renovable que estaba realizando España se vio truncado principalmente por la crisis económica, produciendo un estancamiento a partir de 2013 que ha imposibilitado lograr los objetivos para 2020. Reducir las emisiones de CO2 es fundamental para cumplir los objetivos de la próxima década y para ello es necesario el aumento de potencia renovable. Las energías renovables son económicamente rentables por lo que el incremento en su uso y capacidad es viable. A nivel de generación eléctrica habría que apostar en primer lugar por la energía eólica y la hidráulica, ya que tienen mayor rendimiento y menor coste.

The main objective of this final degree project is the analysis of the current and future situation of electricity generation through the main sources of renewable energy in Spain, at different levels, such as energy, environmental and economic level. For the analysis of the current situation, the evolution of the main indicators within each level is studied and compared with the forecast made by the Renewable Energy Plan 2011-2020. In addition, it is checked whether the 2020 targets set in the PER (2011-2020) and those set by Directive 2009/28 / EC and the Paris Agreement have been met. For the analysis of the future situation, the forecast made by the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (2021-2030) and the long-term objectives are studied. The renewable development that Spain was carrying out was truncated mainly by the economic crisis, producing a stagnation since 2013 that has made it impossible to achieve the objectives for 2020. Reducing CO2 emissions is essential to meet the objectives of the next decade and for this it is necessary to increase renewable power. Renewable energies are economically profitable, so the increase in their use and capacity is viable. At the electricity generation level, it would be necessary to bet first on wind and hydroelectric energy, since they have higher performance and lower cost.
