Abstract
El presente proyecto de fin de carrera se centra en la implementación de unas gafas inteligentes en un almacén del sector textil. El modelo de gafas utilizado ha sido las Vuzix M100. Este proyecto se ha realizado durante un periodo de beca de seis meses en la consultora everis. Esta nueva tecnología se ha aplicado en el proceso de picking de la empresa textil obteniéndose unos resultados interesantes de cara al futuro como tecnología sustitutiva a los actuales dispositivos de radiofrecuencia. Para poder considerar como alternativa al Smart Pick o picking realizado con unas gafas inteligentes ha sido necesario realizar una previa labor de campo, donde se ha estudiado y analizado tanto el proceso involucrado como el funcionamiento de la tecnología actual. Conocer el alcance de esta tecnología ha requerido un periodo previo de formación e investigación, aprendiendo las funcionalidades del dispositivo y las tecnologías con las que es compatible. Una vez descubierta e integrada una solución tecnológica compatible con el dispositivo, se ha realizado un prototipo capaz de completar el proceso de picking de un pedido real. Este prototipo ha sido entregado a una operaria del almacén con el que ha podido realizar un simulacro de un pedido real. El análisis del experimento permite conocer el ahorro en tiempos de realización del proceso de picking junto a la mejora de la ergonomía del operario. Estas mejoras hacen de esta tecnología una interesante apuesta de futuro.
The aim of this thesis is the implementation of smart glasses on a textile warehouse. The smart glasses model that has been used in this study is the Vuzix M100. This thesis has been developed during an internship of approximately six months at the consultancy everis. This new technology has been applied in the process of picking at the company TEXTIL, S.A. Some interesting results have been obtained for the future, as an alternative technology to current radio frequency devices. In order to be able to consider the Smart Pick (or picking done with a smart glasses) as an option it has been necessary to do previous field research, in which the involved process has been studied and understood. In addition, the performance of the current technology has been comprehended. To understand the scope of this technology, a period of training and research was required, in order to learn the functionality of the device and which technologies are compatible with it. Once that a technological solution suitable for the device was discovered and integrated, a prototype capable to complete a real order of picking process has been created. This prototype has been delivered to a warehouse worker, with which she has been able to make a simulation of an actual order. The analysis of this experiment enables to know time savings in the picking process, as well as the improvement of operator’s ergonomics. These enhancements make this technology an interesting solution for the future.
