Abstract
The main objective of this Final Degree Project is the structural analysis of the surface or floor, on which the passengers of an aircraft will be during the flight, to search for the preservation of its structural integrity, after having been loaded with the explosion of a certain TNT mass. To make possible the analysis, it is necessary to implement the Finite Element Method (FEM) not only for the definition of the fuselage model but also for the definition of the blast, throught the CONWEP method. The conservation of the structural integrity of the passengers’ cabin floor is based in the avoidance of the plastic deformation of the structure caused by the stresses, adding to the analysis displacements and pressures, after the detonation. Three configurations are going to be implement: Cockpit, Engine or Lateral and Hold configurations, in order to determine which is the most critical for the integrity. The TNT mass will be also varied to achieve the objective.
