Abstract
El objeto del presente artícu]o es estudiar desde una perspectiva de género la filmografía que
trata sobre la guerra de Troya, analizando hasta qué punto el cine histórico de los últimos sesenta
años ha respetado o deformado la realidad de la mujer troyana. Dicho estudio se ha realizado
desde un enfoque multidisciplinar que tiene en cuenta tanto los datos arqueológicos
como los aportados por la Ilíada y otras fuentes clásicas, al tiempo que también se ha atendido
a aspectos sociales y antropológicos. Se parte del aspecto de la mujer (maquillaje, joyas, vestimenta
y demás complementos femeninos) para luego profundizar en las relaciones de género,
la representación visual del gineceo, las labores atribuidas como propias a las mujeres y su
papel en el oikos.
The purpose of this article is to study from a gender perspective the filmography dealing with the Trojan War, analyzing to what extent the historical cinema of the last sixty years has respected or distorted the reality of the Trojan women. This study has been performed from a multidisciplinary approach that takes into account both archaeological data as the ones provided by the !liad and other classical sources. At the same time, it has paid attention to social and anthropological aspects. It is based on the appearance of the women (makeup, jewelry, clothing and other accessories for women) and then delve into gender relations, visual representation of gineceo, the work assigned as their own to women and their role in the oikos.
