Abstract
El presente documento, editado como Proyecto Fin de Carrera para la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, tiene como principal objetivo la descripción del desarrollo de la aplicación software donominada newFrienTrip. La herramienta representa una propuesta de integración de un sistema de información geográfica en una red social, enmarcado más concretamente en el área del turismo. El sistema diseñado se basa en el uso de tecnologías GIS (Geographic Information System) al servicio de una red social en la que los usuarios puedan planificar sus viajes definiendo puntos de interés a visitar, ya sea basado en recomendaciones de otros viajeros o por iniciativa propia, generar rutas y compartir información de los viajes realizados para beneficio de la comunidad de viajeros de la herramienta. A lo largo del documento se recorren las diferentes etapas del ciclo de vida del proyecto de software. Esto incluye tanto los aspectos técnicos derivados del desarrollo del sistema (estudio del estado del arte, análisis e implementación de la herramienta) como actividades referentes a gestión de proyectos, que han sido tenidas en cuenta para llevar a cabo este proyecto. Dentro de estas últimas cabe resaltar la realización de un estudio de viabilidad de proyecto, destacando la definición de un presupuesto y una planificación de tareas. En el aspecto técnico, el documento aborda la descripción del desarrollo de la aplicación, dificultades encontradas y decisiones tomadas para el diseño del sistema, junto con los manuales de usuario e instalación asociados. La lectura del presente documento permitirá al lector recorrer el proyecto de software NewFriendTrip desde su concepción inicial hasta la solución implementada. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The present document is edited as Project End of Career for the University Carlos III of Madrid. Tha aim of this document is to describe the development of the application software named newFriendTrip. The application newFriendTrip represents a proposal of integration of a geographic information system in a social network which is specially framed in the area of the tourism. The designed system is based on the use of technologies GIS (Geographic Information System) to the service of a social network on which the users could plan their trips by defining points of interest can be based on recommendations of other travelers or on own initiative, to generate routes and to share information of the trips enjoyed for the benefit of the travelers' community in the use of the application. As part of the document the different stages of the life cycle of the project of software are detailed and the have been fulfilled in the development of the system (study of the condition of the art, analysis and implementation of the application) and those activities related to project management, which have been taken into account to carry out this project. Among the above mentioned management tools, it is necessary to highlight the accomplishment of a project viability study, emphasizing the definition of a budget and a planning of tasks. Regarding the technical aspect the document approaches the description of the development of the mentioned application, including difficulties that have been faced and decisions taken for the design of the system, together with tu user's associate manuals and installation. The reading of the present document will allow to the reader to understand fully the project of software NewFriendTrip from his initial conception up to the implemented solution.
