| Abstract: | In this study we analyse the price trends and market structure of the air sector on Spanish domestic rautes. We see that lollowing on Irom liberalisation a swift heavy inllux 01 companies took place on the majority 01 rautes. These carriers were existing charter companies or newly established regional air lines. The initial response 01 the Ilag company was lairly aggressive in terms 01 prices and Irequencies, but it became more cooperative afler 1997. The inllux was then brought to a halt by airport congestion troubles. |
