Abstract
El presente documento trata sobre el estudio de la migración e instalación del sistema TACAN
MM-7000, que se ha realizado a bordo de un buque de la Armada Española, trabajo encargado
a una empresa dedicada a proyectos de carácter militar. Por este motivo, el trabajo que se
expone en esta memoria es el resultado de un proyecto de gran complejidad técnica y sensible
por tratar aspectos de ámbito militar.
El mercado aeronáutico es altamente importante para la economía de los Estados, por ello, la
demanda de realizar fuertes inversiones en nuevos sistemas o el mantenimiento de estos, da
lugar a que exista el diseño y desarrollo de estos proyectos. Debido a la situación
socioeconómica que está atravesando España, el sector aeronáutico se centra en gran parte en
el mantenimiento de sistemas previamente desarrollados, minorando la evolución de la
industria en este sector.
El mantenimiento que se realiza en una aeronave en su ciclo de vida útil, en todos sus ámbitos
(preventivo, correctivo y adaptativo), en la mayoría de los casos es complejo y costoso, aunque
gracias al desarrollo de estas actividades, ha surgido la necesidad de subcontratar a empresas
privadas la ejecución de estos trabajos.
En primer lugar, se explicará el sistema y su funcionamiento, así como algunos de los
componentes más importantes, como es la antena omnidirecional utilizada. En segundo lugar,
se hará un estudio sobre las pruebas realizadas a bordo del buque y las herramientas utilizadas
por el personal técnico que intervino en ellas. Finalmente se analizará el presupuesto
necesario para abordar este tipo de trabajo.
The present document is about the migration study and the installation of TACAN MM-7000 system, which was executed on board a Spanish Armada’s aircraft. A company dedicated to military projects was put in charge of this work. Therefore, the work explained in the report is the result of a complex undertaking including sensitive information due to it deals with military aspects concerning the armed forces. The aeronautic market is vital for the States’ economy. Consequently, the development of these projects exists given the high demand of massive investments in new systems or their maintenance. Because of the socio-economic situation that Spain is going through, the aeronautic sector is mainly focused on the maintenance of previously developed systems reducing the evolution of industry in this sector. The maintenance and the repairs carried out in an aircraft in its life cycle are mostly expensive complexes. However, the necessity of subcontracting private enterprises for the execution of these works has come up on account of these activities. Firstly, the system, its operation and some of the most important components such as the directive antenna used, will be explained. Secondly, a study about the tests performed on board the ship and the tools utilized by the technical personnel will be done. Finally, the necessary budget to tackle this type of work will be analyzed.
