Abstract
The purpose of this Bachelor Thesis is the study, design, optimization, construction and subsequent analysis of a beamforming network for a monopulse antenna in the ISM band of 2.45 GHz. The network will be designed in microstrip technology and is intended to be integrated into a future design of a continuous-wave monopulse radar with linear frequency modulation for short-range detection. The BFN will be used in conjunction with the antenna array designed by Pablo Garrido [4] which comprises four patch elements, it is a model already built to keep in mind the limitations that this entails, both in size and performance. The design will be as compact as possible, trying to efficiently combine an optimized use of space without affecting the performance of the circuit.
