Abstract
Partiendo de que cada individuo esta condicionado por una pluralidad de determinaciones relacionales, uno de los principales objetos de estudio del historiador ha de ser enfocar las relaciones entre individuos. Esto es fundamental en el analisis de una sociedad como la hispana durante la Edad Media, en la que destaca como elemento distintivo la presencia de tres comunidades étnico-religiosas que convivieron o coexistieron durante varios siglos. Este articulo repasa los contactos entre mujeres cristianas, musulmanas y judias en los territorios cristianos durante los siglos XIII, XIV y XV. Estudiar estas relaciones exige analizar la posicion de las mujeres de los grupos dominados tras la conquista, estudiar sus funciones y considerar los vinculos que podian unirlas, asi como las posibles infl uencias mutuas resultantes de sus relaciones.
Given that each individual is conditioned by a plurality of determining relations, one of the main aims of historians’ studies, therefore, must be to focus on individual relationships. This is key to the analysis of a society such as Hispania’s in the Middle Ages, standing apart and being distinguished by the presence of three ethno-religious communities living together and co-existing for a number of centuries. This article looks at the contact between Christian, Muslim and Jewish women in Christian territories during the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries, and a study of these relationships requires an analysis of the position of women from those groups ruled after the conquest, a study of their roles, and the bonds that could have united them as well as the possible common infl uences resulting from their relationships.
