Abstract
Durante siglos el tráfico de bienes culturales ha sido tremendamente habitual, pero sin control, en el contexto de guerras o de colonizaciones. Afortunadamente en la actualidad el desarrollo de exposiciones en museos y centros culturales es uno de los principales motivos de movilidad de las obras de arte, no sólo en España, sino a nivel mundial. En concreto es en la última década cuando las exposiciones temporales se han convertido en uno de los mecanismos más potentes para la difusión del patrimonio histórico y de la diversidad cultural. El objeto del presente trabajo tiene como fin ofrecer una perspectiva amplia, pero ordenada, sobre la organización de las exposiciones temporales en España, abarcando todos los apartados pertinentes, desde el propio concepto de temporalidad, pasando por la gestión del contrato de préstamo o el seguro de la obra de arte, hasta el transporte utilizado con el propósito de trasladar un bien cultural al lugar de celebración de la exposición.
Throughout the centuries the movement of cultural assets has been extremely usual in the context of armed conflicts or colonizations. Fortunately nowadays the development of exhibitions in museums and culture centers is one of the main reasons of mobility of art collections, not only in Spain but throughout the world, and it has been in this last decade when temporary exhibitions have become one of the most powerful mechanisms for the promotion of the heritage and the cultural diversity. The objective of the present work is to offer a broader perspective, although under an obligation, in respect to the organization of temporary exhibitions in Spain and how they get organized, covering for this purpose all relevant sectors, starting by the proper concept of short-term nature, then the management of a loan contract, insurance for the work of arts and the usual transportation used with the purpose of moving a cultural asset to the location where the exhibitions takes place.
