Abstract: This paper analyzes the average bit error rate (BER) of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) systems in transmit-correlated Rayleigh flat-fading channels. The receiver scheme is based on the minimum mean square error (MMSE) criterion, and the input may be precoded to optimize the communication. Accurate closed-form formulations for the average BER are derived
