Las tesis doctorales de Farmacia defendidas en España durante el siglo XIX

Abstract

El presente catálogo es el inicio de un proyecto destinado a crear el listado de los doctores graduados en la Universidad Central (ahora Universidad Complutense de Madrid) durante el siglo XIX, en las Facultades de Filosofía y Letras, Ciencias, Derecho, Medicina, Teología y Farmacia, y el catálogo de sus tesis doctorales. Este primer trabajo recoge los doctores y tesis presentadas en la Facultad de Farmacia, entre los años 1852 y 1900. El listado se organiza por fecha de lectura, apellidos y nombre del doctor, e índices de autores, materias y palabras clave. La organización cronológica permitirá al investigador el seguimiento de la evolución de esta ciencia en España durante el periodo tratado.

This current catalog is the starting point of a project to create a complete register of those PhD candidates, and the archives of their doctoral theses, of those graduated during the nineteen century from the Schools of Philosophy, Sciences, Law, Medicine, Divinity and Pharmacy at the Universidad Central [of Spain] (now Universidad Complutense of Madrid). This first work includes the names of the PhD candidates and the theses defended at the School of Pharmacy between the years of 1852 and 1900. The catalogue is organized based on the date the thesis was defended, then the last and first names of the candidate, the list of authorities, and finally the subject and its key words. This chronological arrangement may allow the investigator to better follow the evolution during this period of the pharmacology in Spain.
