Abstract
This paper examines the Utopia presented by the mythical Island of the Blessed in the ancient Greek sources, from Hesiod's 'Works and Days' (7th century BCE) up to Plato's Dialogues (4th c. BCE) and their mythological and cultural meaning as a kind of Paradise.
