dc.description.abstract	Taking into accont the crisis of values which characterizes current societies, this article seeks to establish -by means of analyzing intenational films-, how emerges an aesthetic of violence, on the one side, and how, on the oder side, a mythical discourse is produced not only concerning violence, but also death representation. Usually being active part of the narrative, and often its adresee, violence also functions as a code that found new feures (like "gore movies") or even new practices (like "snuff movies"), while at the same time it leaves its traces on film language, as a look.	en
dc.description.abstract	À partir de la crise des valeurs dans la société actuelle on analysera ici le développement, dans le cinéma intenational, d'une esthétique de la violence et la produetion d'un discours mythique autour de la violence et, plus particulièrement, de la représentation de la mort. Si elle constitue un actant du récit, (et le plus souvent son destinateur), la violence fonctionne aussi comme un code, qui fonde de nouveaux genres (le cinéma "gore") et même de nouvelles pratiques (le cinéma "snuff'), et comme look, marquant de son empreinte le langage cinématographique.	en
